Our office is located at A-63 in Palam Extension, which is quite near Dwarka Sector 7 in New Delhi. This is where Ibm Daksh Bpo Services operates from. It’s a typical BPO setup, so it never really stays quiet for long. There are always people on the phones or typing away at their keyboards. We have rows of desks and everyone has their own little space with a headset. The air conditioning is always running because of all the computers, so most of us keep a sweater at our desks even when it is boiling hot outside. The commute to Palam can be a bit of a hassle depending on where you are coming from, but since we are near Dwarka, there are plenty of places to grab food or run errands during a break. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just some old notices and maybe a calendar. The break room is where we spend our downtime, usually just heating up lunch in the microwave and complaining about the traffic. It’s a busy environment and the shifts can be long. We’ve been in this building for several years now, so we know all the little quirks, like which door sticks and where the best light is. It’s just a regular workplace where a lot of people come together to get through the daily call volume and data work.
