The 110068 area has its own character, and our office is right in the mix of it. It’s a second-floor walk-up, so we get our daily exercise just coming into work. The space itself is functional. We’ve set it up for our consulting work, with plenty of desk space and shelving for all the documents we have to keep track of. It’s not a corporate headquarters with a glass facade; it’s a working office where real stuff happens every day. The noise from the street below filters up sometimes, reminding us we're in the middle of a busy city. We spend our hours here working through projects, sometimes staying late when things get piled up. The team is small enough that we all know what everyone else is doing. We don’t have a big HR department or fancy policies; we just talk to each other and get the job done. It’s a bit cramped when we have visitors, but we manage. Most of the time, it's just us and the work. It’s a practical, lived-in office that feels more like a workshop than a corporate suite. We like it that way because it keeps us focused on the tasks we need to complete before heading home.
