Harshita Aeronautical Foundation

We’ve been running the foundation out of Mehrauli for a good while now. The address is 36/1, and if you know this part of New Delhi, you know it gets quite crowded with all the traffic and people moving around. Most days start with us opening up the office early to beat the heat, especially during the summer months when the sun really hits this part of the building. We focus on aeronautical topics here. It isn't some massive corporate building with glass walls. It’s just a practical space where we keep our books, papers, and files. People usually find us by looking for the landmarks near Mehrauli. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask what we are working on. We have a few desks and some chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job. You might hear the street noise while you're inside, but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We spend a lot of time organizing things for the students and whoever else comes by looking for information about planes and flying. It’s a lot of paperwork, honestly. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It is mostly just us sitting around the table, going through what needs to get done for the day. We like being in 110030 because everything you need is just a short walk away.
