Our office is over at A 105 in Phase 5 of Aya Nagar. This is a part of New Delhi that is right on the edge. H D F C Bank set up here to be close to the local community. It’s not one of those huge branches you see in Connaught Place. It’s more modest. We have our desks and the cash counter. The address is 110047. The roads around here can be a bit dusty and crowded, especially during the rush hour. We spend our time checking papers and talking to people about their accounts. It’s a lot of routine work. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of pens. We aren't a high-pressure corporate office. We just take things as they come. People from Phase 5 walk in all day. We know who is who. It’s a functional place to do banking. We don't have any fancy art on the walls or leather sofas. Just chairs that have been here for a while. We stay busy enough to keep the day going fast. It’s a real place with real people working. We try to keep it organized but it’s a busy spot.
