Our spot is in Dwarka at the Himachal Apartments, which is right in Sector 5. Specifically, we are in C 102 on Plot No 21. If you've ever been to this part of New Delhi, you know it's a mix of big apartment blocks and small markets. Our office feels more like a lived-in space than a corporate building. We represent the Govt Of India in this corner of the city. The rooms are filled with folders and the desks are usually a bit cluttered with notes and forms. It gets quite bright in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows, which is nice. We aren't really set up for visitors, though people do drop by occasionally for paperwork. It is a busy place, but in a quiet, methodical way. We don't have a lot of staff here, just a small group of us who keep things running. The elevators in the building can be a bit temperamental, so we often take the stairs if we aren't carrying too much. There is no big sign outside, just the address. We handle our daily duties without much fanfare. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten while we talk about the local news or the weather. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of office life where the work gets done steadily. We like being in Dwarka because it feels a bit more organized than the older parts of the city.
