Genpact

Working out of Vasant Kunj has its own rhythm, especially being tucked away in Sector C Pocket 2. It’s a bit different from the crowded business hubs, but that’s actually a nice change of pace. We have been in this space for some time now, and the neighbors mostly know us by now. The building is solid, nothing too flashy, but it serves the purpose for what we need to do. We spend our mornings going through emails and checking off lists that seem to grow every single day. There isn’t much of a corporate vibe here, just a handful of us at Genpact making sure everything is handled the way it should be. Sometimes the internet slows down when it rains, which can be annoying, but we usually find something else to do until it comes back up. Most of us bring lunch from home, and we sit around the small table in the back to eat and talk about whatever shows we are watching. It is a quiet corner of New Delhi compared to the main roads. Getting here isn't too bad if you know the shortcuts through the pockets. We don't have a big sign or anything, so you have to look for the house number 2266. It’s a simple setup, really. Just some desks and people trying to do a good job without making a big fuss about things. We like it that way and it keeps us grounded in the local community.
