You’ll find us at House No 1590 in Sector 5 of R K Puram. It’s a government-heavy area of New Delhi, so the surroundings are actually quite green and relatively quiet compared to other parts of the city. Our office is basically just a house that’s been converted into a workspace for Genpact India. It feels more like a home than a corporate building, which is actually kind of nice. We have our desks spread out across the rooms. It’s not very modern, and the floors have some scuffs from years of people moving chairs around. We don't mind. We aren't here to impress clients with a marble lobby. We’re here to work. We spend our days on the computer, handling whatever tasks are assigned to us. There’s a small area where we eat lunch, and usually, someone is sharing food they brought from home. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We don't wear suits or use fancy language. We just speak plain English and get the job done. The neighborhood is peaceful, which helps when we have to concentrate on difficult things. We’ve been here for years, and most of us know the local vendors by name. It’s just a regular, honest place to earn a living. We don't fuss about things that don't matter. As long as the work gets done on time, we’re happy. It's a decent place to be every day.
