Out here in Dwarka, specifically at 144 Din Apartments in Sector 4, things feel a bit different than the center of Delhi. It’s Plot 7. If you’re looking for us, you might have to check the signs twice. It’s a residential-feeling area which makes the workday a little more relaxed. We’ve been operating out of this spot for some time now. We aren't some big corporate machine with a front desk lady in a suit. Usually, it's just one of us opening the door if someone knocks. We spend our hours staring at screens and talking on the phone. The office has enough space for our team, but it’s definitely cozy. We have a little kettle in the corner for tea, which is basically the lifeblood of the office. On rainy days, the view out the window toward the other blocks is actually kind of nice. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. It’s functional. We handle the business for Genpact India from these rooms. Some of us have been here since the start, while others are newer, but we all just get along. It’s a simple setup for simple work. We don't need much else. It's just a regular workplace in a regular part of town. We show up, we do the bits and pieces of our jobs, and then we head out. We try to keep things easy and avoid any unnecessary drama.
