Our office is tucked away on Mandir Marg in Mahavir Enclave, not too far from Jyoti Bakery. If you know the area, you know how busy this part of New Delhi gets, especially on the weekends. We are at Rz G 1 29, a spot that we have called home for a good while. Dealing with securities and financial paperwork means we spend a lot of time staring at screens and checking the latest numbers. It is serious work, but we try to keep the atmosphere in the office relaxed. There is always someone coming in or out, and the sound of the nearby traffic is just background noise to us now. We don't have a big reception area or a lot of staff in suits. Most of us just wear what is comfortable and focus on getting the records straight. The bakery nearby is a bit of a distraction because the smell of fresh bread drifts over sometimes, which usually leads to someone going out for a snack. We keep our files in order and try to stay on top of the regulations that seem to change every other month. It is a straightforward operation. We don't use a lot of fancy software, just the stuff that works and keeps our data safe. It’s a local business run by people who live right here in the enclave and understand how things work in this neighborhood without needing any corporate polish.
