Down in Sector 12 of RK Puram, you’ll find us at House No 1318. We’ve set up Ernst Young right here in a residential house, which makes the whole place feel a lot less stiff than a traditional office. It’s a busy neighborhood in New Delhi, but once you step inside, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards clicking. We do a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to taxes and keeping books straight for our clients. There isn't a fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting you. You just come in, and one of us will help you out. We use the dining table for big meetings sometimes if the desks are too cluttered with files. It’s not a perfect system, but it’s how we’ve been doing things for a long time. The commute can be a bit rough for the staff depending on the traffic, but we’re usually here by nine. We don't use much jargon or try to sound smarter than we are. We just look at the numbers and tell you what they mean. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of life here. We’re just regular people trying to do a good job with the paperwork. It’s a steady pace, and we like being part of the local community in RK Puram. We keep the files organized as best as we can.
