Bhanushali Exim

Bhanushali Exim operates out of Shop No.46 in the Mohan Ware House, right near the Narol Char Rasta. It’s a dusty part of town with trucks constantly coming and going from the big crossroad. Our space is basically a big warehouse filled with stacks of boxes and crates waiting to be moved out. It gets incredibly hot under the tin roof during the middle of the day, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning before the sun is too high. I spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the counts are right on the clipboards. It’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers who manage the daily tasks of loading and unloading. We don’t have a fancy office; it’s just a corner with a table and a couple of old ledgers. Everything we do is about moving goods in and out of the Narol area. Sometimes the shipments are late and we just have to wait around drinking tea and talking about local stuff. The floor is concrete and always has some black tire marks from the trolleys we use to move the heavy boxes. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us on our feet all day. We’ve been at this spot for a while, and the Mohan Ware House has become like a second home to us. You get used to the smell of diesel and the sound of horns. We just focus on getting things loaded.
