Our office is in one of those houses that has been there for many years. It’s a quiet street compared to the main roads nearby. We do our HRD consulting work from here. Inside, there are files stacked up and some old furniture that we’ve used forever. It’s not one of those modern glass buildings you see in the city center. It feels more like a home that turned into an office over time. We have a small team. We usually just talk to people on the phone or meet them here in the small sitting area we set up. There is a tree out front that gives some good shade during the hot months. Sometimes the power goes out in the middle of summer, but we just deal with it and keep going. It’s a very local way of working. New Delhi can be hectic, but this corner of Motibagh is alright. We don’t have any big advertisements outside. Just a small plate with the name on it. We focus on the work we have for the day. Most of our neighbors are families living their lives. We just fit in there with our desks and papers. It’s a humble spot for a consulting firm. No one wears ties much unless there is a very big reason. We just like it this way.
