If you head over to Neb Valley in Neb Sarai, you’ll find us at A-24-A. We’ve been making and selling furniture here for a while. It’s a bit of a dusty business, honestly. There is always the sound of sawing or sanding going on in the back. Our showroom isn't like those fancy malls. It’s just a place where we put out what we’ve finished so people can see it. We have wood shavings on the floor sometimes and the smell of varnish is everywhere. We aren't a big chain; we’re just a local company trying to make items for people's homes. People come in looking for a table or a cupboard, and we show them what we have. Sometimes we have to tell them it’ll take a few weeks because we’re backed up. We don't use a lot of fancy sales talk. We just show the joints and the wood and let people decide for themselves. The neighborhood of Neb Valley is quiet, which we like. It gives us space to work. Our team is small, just a few craftsmen and some helpers. We’ve had the same guys for years. We don't have a website with glossy photos. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or see the sign while they’re out for a walk. It’s a straightforward way to live. Delhi Furniture Company (P) Ltd. is just a workshop where we put in the hours every day.
