Cruz Biotech

We work out of 21-C, which is a DDA flat in Rajouri Garden for Cruz Biotech. It’s a bit different than your typical office building, but it suits us just fine. Rajouri Garden is a noisy and active neighborhood, but our block stays relatively quiet most of the time. Working in the biotech field involves a lot of technical details, yet the day-to-day routine is very grounded. We spend our time coordinating with labs and keeping track of different samples or data sets. Our operation is small, with just a few of us working in the various rooms of the flat. The living area has been turned into a workspace filled with desks and computers. We mostly use the kitchen for making tea, which we tend to drink a lot of throughout the day. It’s nice to be able to open the windows and get some fresh air, unlike those cramped glass offices. Neighbors occasionally stop by to say hello or see what we are working on. Since we’ve been here for a while, we feel like part of the neighborhood. There aren't any flashy signs or lights outside our door. If you didn't have the specific address, you would probably just think it was another home. We like the low-key vibe because it allows us to focus on the science and logistics. It feels more like a home than an office most days, which makes the long hours a little easier.
