We are located at L 194 in Mahipalpur, New Delhi. If you’ve ever been to this area, you know it’s right by the airport and the main highway. It’s always noisy and there’s constantly something moving outside. The building we’re in is a typical Mahipalpur structure—a bit cramped but it gets the job done. We’ve set up our Convergys office here because it’s a central point for a lot of our staff who come from different parts of the city. It’s not a glamorous place to work, but it’s practical. We deal with the dust from the road and the constant sound of planes overhead. Inside, we just have our regular workstations and a small area to sit and eat. We don’t have any of those fancy perks you hear about in big companies. It’s just a place where we put in the hours. The street outside is always packed with hotels and travelers, so there’s always a bit of chaos when you step out the door. We usually just stick to ourselves and focus on the day's tasks. The plumbing can be a bit temperamental sometimes, and the stairs are steep, but we’ve grown used to it. It’s a no-nonsense environment for people who just want to work. We’ve been here for a while and don't see ourselves moving anytime soon, despite the traffic.
