Colour Plus Fashions Ltd

G-4 in sector-5 is where you will find us, right in the middle of the RG complex in the main market area. It is constantly noisy outside our windows. Vegetable sellers shouting and the honking of rickshaws go on all day long. Tucked away in Plot no.8 of the building is Colour Plus Fashions Ltd. Getting here is a bit of a maze if the market streets are new to you. Inside the office, things are much quieter. It’s just us and the piles of clothes. Stacks of shirts in every color you can think of fill the shelves, which I guess is why we have the name. I often think the dust in here is just tiny bits of colored thread floating in the air. Bright lights are a necessity to see the tiny stitching details even if they are a bit much for me. People often wander in just to ask for directions to other shops because the complex is so confusing. Every time I move an inch, my office chair makes a loud squeaking sound. Lunch is usually eaten together on the back packing table, where we share whatever someone brought in their tiffin. We don't have fancy carpets or glass walls like a corporate office. This is just a practical place to work. Suppliers are often late with the buttons so we spend a lot of time on the phone. By Wednesday, the place is a mess but we just tidy up.
