Charge Records

We’ve been here in Vasant Kunj for a while now. Most days it’s just us hanging around the shop at 7216 B 10. It isn’t a huge place, but it fits what we need. It’s mostly about keeping the records organized and making sure the door is open for anyone who walks in from the street. The New Delhi traffic can be a mess out there, but inside it’s usually pretty quiet. We didn't really have a big plan when we started. It was just a way to work with things we liked. Some days are busier than others. You get the regulars who stop by to see what's new on the shelves, and then you get people who are just lost looking for a different block. We spend a lot of time just sorting through boxes and checking the inventory. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. The air conditioner is a bit loud sometimes, but we got used to it. The neighborhood has changed a bit since we first got the keys, but our little spot stays mostly the same. We drink a lot of chai and just get through the lists we make every morning. It's just a normal workplace where we try to keep things moving. Nothing fancy, just a room full of stuff and a couple of desks where we sit and handle the paperwork. We usually have some music playing in the background, but nothing too loud. It's just a regular shop where we do our best to stay organized.
