Our office is located at Rz B 1 37A in the Shiv Main Market at Vijay Enclave, over in New Delhi. Being in a market area means it’s always loud and full of life outside. We do industrial economic research here. Most of our day is spent looking at numbers and writing reports about how different industries are doing. It’s not the most exciting work to everyone, but we find it interesting. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many books and folders everywhere. It’s an old-school way of working, but it works for us. We aren't a big corporate firm with a lobby and a receptionist. You just walk in and we’re all there working at our desks. We’ve been in Vijay Enclave for a long time and the local shopkeepers know us well. We grab our lunch from the stalls nearby and usually eat while we’re still talking about work. We don't do any flashy promotions. We just do the research and people who need it know where to find us. It’s a bit dusty and the traffic in Delhi is always a challenge, but we make it into the office every day. We’re just a small group of researchers trying to make sense of the economy. It’s honest, hard work and we’ve been doing it at this same address for years now. We plan to keep our heads down and continue our studies.
