Bharti Refrrigeration Works

Our workshop for Bharti Refrrigeration Works is right on Dabri Palam Road in Dasrath Puri. If you walk past A-97, you’ll probably hear us before you see us because there is always some compressor running or someone hammering on a metal frame. It’s a dusty place, mostly because of the road construction that never seems to end around here. We spend our days surrounded by old fridge parts, gas cylinders, and copper tubing. It’s dirty work, and our hands are usually covered in grease or some kind of sealant. My dad started this place years ago, and we just kept it going. We fix things that people bring in, and sometimes we go out to their houses when their cooling stops working in the middle of a heatwave. The shop is small, so we have to stack the units carefully to make room for us to move around. It gets really hot inside during the summer months, even with the fans going. We keep a few stools for people to sit on while they wait for a quote or a bill. It's not a corporate office with air conditioning. We just have our tools and a steady stream of work coming from the neighborhood. Most folks around here know us by name. We don't do much talking; we just get to the repairs and try to finish by evening. We keep a ledger on the front counter to track everything manually. It is just a simple, local repair shop.
