If you go to Bhikaji Cama Place, you’ll find us in the Bhikaji Cama Bhawan. We are in room 406. It’s a very busy commercial hub and there are always people rushing around with briefcases. Bgh Exim Limited is basically an import-export setup. That means a lot of our day is just spent on the computer or the phone, trying to track where containers are. It’s a lot of paperwork and dealing with different time zones. Sometimes the internet is slow and we all just sit around waiting for a page to load so we can file a document. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many files from over the years. We probably should digitize more of it, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It’s just a door with our name on it and some desks inside. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we know how to stay out of each other's way in the small space. We don't do much in the way of self-promotion. We just get the goods from one place to another and make sure the taxes are paid. It’s a lot of logistical headaches, but we’re used to it by now. The coffee machine is the most important piece of equipment we own, honestly. We wouldn't get much done without it.
