Apurav Relan Co

Apurav Relan Co is tucked away on the third floor of a building in Katwaria Sarai. To get to Room 27, you have to head up the stairs of F 31 on Central Street, which can be a bit of a climb if you aren't used to it. Being so close to the IIT gate means there are always a lot of students and young people walking around outside. The energy in this part of Delhi is always high, even if the streets themselves are quite narrow and a bit crowded. Our office is small, just enough space for our desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. It gets a bit dusty because of all the construction and traffic nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down our screens. We usually get our lunch from one of the little stalls down the street. The tea guy comes around a few times a day, and that’s when we usually take a break from whatever we are doing. It’s not a corporate park or anything, just a regular room in a busy neighborhood where we get our work done. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit in the afternoon, and we just open the windows to let some air in, even if it's noisy. We have been here for a while and the people in the neighboring rooms are mostly familiar faces now. It’s a practical setup for us and we just keep at it day after day.
