It is right near there and almost everyone knows it. Our office is a typical Delhi apartment setup turned into a workspace. It’s got that lived-in feel with old files stacked up and some mismatched chairs we’ve gathered over the years. New Delhi 110016 is a busy pin code and there is always something happening outside on the street. You can hear the horns and the street vendors pretty clearly from the balcony. We have a small window AC that works okay, but it struggles a bit in the peak of summer. We just get on with things. It is not a place with a lobby or a security guard at the door. You just walk up the stairs and we are right there. The lighting isn't the best in the back room but we make it work. Most days we order lunch from the small shops nearby. It’s a bit cramped when we have everyone in at the same time, but we are used to it. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea seller knows exactly how many cups to bring without us even calling him on the phone.
