Shikara Beach Resort Private Limited is down in Cavelossim, which is a nice part of South Goa. We are located at 18, Luisa By The Sea. It’s right there in Mobor. South Goa has a much slower feel than the north, and we definitely feel that in our daily routine. Salcete is a good area to be in. Most of our day is spent walking around the property, checking if the guests need anything or if the pool area is clean. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It’s mostly just us and a few local staff members who have been with us for a while. The address 403731 is what you put in the GPS. Sometimes things break down, like an air conditioner or a light fixture, and we have to scramble to get a technician out here. It’s just the reality of running a resort by the water. The salt air is tough on the buildings. We focus on the practical things like clean sheets and a working kitchen. People seem to appreciate that we are just normal people running a local business. We don't use much jargon or complicated systems. We just keep the doors open and try to be helpful to anyone who stops by Luisa By The Sea. It's a decent place to work and live, even with the constant repairs. We just take it one day at a time here.
