Goan Hotels Clubs Pvt. Ltd. operates out of The Grand Hyatt Goa, which is located near the Goa Univiersity. It’s a beautiful spot, but for us, it’s mostly just where we show up to work every morning. We handle all the behind-the-scenes stuff that keeps a large place like this running smoothly. It’s a lot of management and keeping track of a thousand little things. The university is very close by, so we see students and teachers around the area quite often. Being in Goa, the pace of life can be a little slower outside, but inside our office, we are usually pretty busy with something. We have a mix of people working here. Some have been in the hotel business for decades, and others are just starting their first jobs. We don’t really go in for the formal corporate style of doing things. We prefer to just talk to each other plainly and get the problems sorted. The building is quite large, and sometimes it feels like a maze if you aren’t used to walking the halls. We deal with all sorts of daily issues, from fixing a broken light to organizing a big event. It’s never really the same two days in a row here. Sometimes the heat gets to be a bit much in the afternoon, but the sea breeze helps. We aren't here to make big promises. We just work hard and keep the place going. That is about all there is to it.
