If you find yourself in Bardez, we are over at House Number 576/1 in the Carras Vaddo area of Parra. It’s a nice part of Goa, away from the really noisy tourist spots but still close enough to everything. We’ve been running things here for a while. It’s not one of those massive luxury resorts you see in brochures; it's a more grounded place. We spend a lot of time just keeping the building in good shape because the Goa humidity is tough on the paint. Our staff is mostly local people who have lived in the vaddo for years. We do things a bit slowly here, which fits the vibe of the neighborhood. You might see us out front sweeping the porch or chatting with the neighbors in the morning. We don't have a big corporate manual for how to talk to guests. We just treat people like they’re visiting our home. Sometimes the power goes out when it rains hard, and we just light some candles and wait it out. It’s just how life is here. We focus on the basics like clean rooms and making sure the fans work. We don't make big promises, we just try to make sure people have a decent place to stay while they're exploring Goa. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. There is always something that needs fixing or cleaning, but we just take it one day at a time without any fuss.
