Sarovar Hotels

Our main office is at Gopika Nivas, in the Aradi area of Candolim, Goa. It’s not a hotel itself, but it’s where we do all the background work for the Sarovar properties. The building is a typical Goan house, which makes for a pretty relaxed working environment compared to a big city office. We have several rooms set up with desks and computers where we handle the bookings and the management side of things. Candolim is usually full of tourists, so it’s always busy outside our gates. Inside, we are mostly focused on phone calls and spreadsheets. We have to coordinate with the staff at the different locations and make sure all the supplies are being delivered. It’s a lot of administrative work that people don't usually see. We have a small group of people here who have worked with us for a while. Most of us live nearby and ride our bikes to work. There isn't anything fancy about the office; it’s just a place to get the job done. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. Most of the day is spent solving little problems and making sure the schedules are right. It’s a simple, local operation that keeps everything running behind the scenes. We like being in this part of Goa because it’s close to everything we need to manage. It’s just regular office work in a coastal town.
