Royal Resorts Haathi Mahal Goa

We are located in Benaulim, at Vaz Villa in Carvalho Park. It’s a different vibe down here in South Goa compared to the north. Things move slower. We spend the day keeping the grounds tidy and looking after the guests who come through. The walk down to the beach isn't too long, and you see the same local people every morning. Our building has been here for a while, and it feels like a solid part of the neighborhood. We handle everything from checking people in to making sure the kitchen has what it needs. It’s not always perfect; sometimes the power goes out for a bit or a pipe leaks, but we get it sorted out as fast as we can. We have some nice outdoor spaces where people just sit and read. The trees give some good shade when the sun is really beating down. We’re not trying to be the fanciest place in Goa, just a comfortable spot where you can get a good night's sleep. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so they know the area well. We spend our evenings sitting outside once the work is done, listening to the crickets. It’s a lot of work keeping a resort running, but we’ve got a good routine now. People seem to appreciate that we don't make a big fuss about everything. It’s just how we run things here at the villa.
