Royal Gon Beach Club

Our club, Royal Gon Beach Club, is down in Cavelossim, in the Mobor area of Salcette. It is right by the water, which is the main reason we are located here. We have a simple setup with some chairs and a bit of a kitchen. The sand gets everywhere, so we are constantly sweeping and cleaning the floors. It is a laid-back place because that is the vibe of Salcette. We do not have fancy uniforms or strict rules for anyone. Most of the time, the staff are just wearing shorts and t-shirts while they work. We serve some local food and drinks to the people who come down to the beach. It is a lot of work when the tide comes in or when it rains, as we have to move everything under the roof quickly. We get a lot of locals and some tourists who wander down from the bigger hotels nearby. I took over the place from a friend, and we just keep it running day by day. We do not have a big stage or loud speakers. It is more of a spot to just sit and look at the ocean. The sun can be really hot in the afternoons, so we spend that time prepping for the evening. It is a quiet life by the coast. We just focus on the chores and making sure there is enough cold water for everyone who stops by.
