Ramada Caravela Beach Resort

This place sits right on Varca Beach in Salcete. If you go through Varca Village, you will eventually hit the sand where we are. Being in South Goa means things are a bit slower than the north, which suits us just fine. The address is 403721 and we spend a lot of our day dealing with the salt air and the sand that gets everywhere. It is a big property, so there is always something that needs fixing or a patch of grass that needs cutting. The staff stays busy walking back and forth between the buildings and the beach area. We see people coming here from all over, some just to see the ocean for a bit. The sound of the waves is pretty much the background noise for everything we do. In the monsoon, it gets very wet and we have to move things inside, but during the dry months, everyone wants to be outside. It is a lot of work to keep a place this size running smoothly, and we have people working in the gardens, the rooms, and the kitchen all day long. We aren't just a building; we are a bunch of people who live and work here in Salcete, trying to keep the place looking decent for whoever decides to visit the beach. We just take it day by day and try to keep the palm trees trimmed and the paths clear for everyone.
