You can find us at the Salgaocar Centre, which is located in the Murgaon Estate area near Chicalim. We’re pretty close to the airport road, so we see a lot of the South Goa traffic passing by. Lua Azul is a small resort partnership we set up. We aren't a massive chain with hotels everywhere; we focus on our spot here. The office is in E4 of the centre. It’s a practical location for us because it’s easy for staff and suppliers to get to. Managing a resort in South Goa has its own set of challenges, from the monsoon rains to the quiet off-season months. We spend our days making sure the operations are running smoothly. It’s a lot of hands-on work. We don’t have a PR team writing our stuff, so it’s just us telling it like it is. We try to keep the place looking good and the atmosphere relaxed. Chicalim is a good base for us. It’s not as crazy as the north, and we prefer it that way. We just want to provide a decent place for people to stay when they come to this part of Goa. It's about being consistent and showing up every day to do the work. We handle everything from the maintenance to the bookings ourselves. It is a simple business run by people who actually care about the day-to-day details of hospitality and making sure things work the way they should.
