Intercontinental The Grand Goe Resort

It's been quite a while since we set things up here at the resort in Salcete. You can find us near the Svd Ashram, specifically at House Number 1349/B in Damon W. Goa is a busy place for tourism, but our spot stays grounded. Dealing with the daily running of a place this size takes a lot of coordination. We handle everything from making sure the rooms are ready to keeping the grounds in decent shape. The staff lives nearby or commutes from the surrounding villages. Usually, someone is around to answer the phone or check people in, though things get a bit hectic during the monsoon season when maintenance needs more attention. We don't really do the fancy corporate talk. It's just about making sure the gates are open and the lights are on. Sometimes the humidity gets to the paint or the gardens grow faster than we can trim them back, but that's just part of being in this part of Goa. We’ve been at this address for a good stretch now. Most of the people working here have been with us for years. They know the shortcuts around the neighborhood and where to get the best supplies when things run out. If you are looking for the place, just head toward the ashram and you’ll see our gate. It is a straightforward operation. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks that keep the resort going.
