Hotel Airlines

If you head down toward the Central Jail in Hanumangarh, you’ll find us at House No 147 in Sector 11A. We call it Hotel Airlines, though we don't have much to do with planes out here in this part of Rajasthan. It’s a straightforward kind of place to stay. The dust can get a bit thick when the wind picks up, so we’re always sweeping the front step to keep it looking decent. It isn’t some high-rise building with elevators; it’s just a solid house where we’ve set things up for travelers. The rooms are basic, but the beds are okay and the fans work. We get people coming through for all sorts of reasons, some visiting folks nearby and others just passing through the district. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, except for the occasional noise from the main road. We don’t have a fancy menu or a big dining hall, just simple food if someone is hungry and the kitchen is open. I’ve lived in Hanumangarh most of my life, so I know how things go around here. We just try to make sure the place stays tidy and the guests are comfortable enough. Sometimes the power goes out in the sector, but we have some lanterns ready for when that happens. It’s just a regular local business run by regular people.
