Bambolim Beach Resort

Bambolim Beach Resort is right there on the sand at Bambolim Beach. It is a pretty quiet spot compared to some of the other beaches nearby. Most of our time is spent making sure the rooms are tidy and the paths are clear of sand. It’s a constant battle with the salt air because it makes everything rusty or sticky. We have a lot of staff who have been here for a long time, just doing the daily chores. In the mornings, we check the kitchen supplies and see what needs fixing around the property. There is always a leaking tap or a squeaky door somewhere that needs attention. When it’s the off-season, things slow down a lot and we spend time painting the walls or fixing the wooden furniture. It’s not always like the photos; sometimes the weather is rough and we have to move all the outdoor chairs inside quickly. We hear the waves all day while we work, which is nice, but you almost stop noticing it after a few years. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the reception and the rooms. We don't have a big corporate team, just local people making sure everything stays running. Sometimes we sit on the steps during a break and just look at the water. It’s just a simple place by the sea and we try to keep it that way for everyone. The sunset here is usually the best part of the day.
