Our office for Xchanging Technology Services India Pvt. Ltd is located at 1679D/7 on the second floor in Govindpuri Extension. This area, right near Kalkaji, is one of those places in Delhi that never seems to sleep. The streets are narrow and always full of people, bikes, and small shops. Being on the second floor, we are a little bit removed from the noise of the street, but you can still hear the horns honking throughout the day. Inside, it’s a lot of computers, server racks, and cables. We do technical work, so most of the staff spend their time with headphones on, focusing on their screens. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s a functional space where we solve technical problems and manage data. The air conditioning is essential because the building can get quite warm in the Delhi heat. We usually order lunch from one of the small eateries down the lane, and the food is actually pretty good. Most of us take the Metro to Kalkaji and then walk or take an auto to get here. It’s a bit of a commute, but we’ve made a decent little community inside these walls. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't; we are just a group of tech people working in a busy part of South Delhi, getting the jobs done as they come in every morning.
