We are located over in Safdarjung Development Area, right at C-6/5. It’s a decent part of New Delhi to work in, though parking is usually a headache for everyone. At Hitachi Mgrm Net, we spend our days dealing with a lot of data and networking stuff. It’s mostly just rows of desks and people looking at screens for hours. The office isn't overly big, but we make it work. Some of the guys have been here for years and know every little detail about the systems we handle. We aren't really the type of place that has a big showroom or anything like that. It’s more about the technical work going on behind the scenes. Lunchtime usually involves someone going out to grab rolls or sitting in the small pantry area talking about traffic. We keep our heads down and get the tasks done. Sometimes the internet acts up and everyone gets a bit annoyed, which is ironic considering what we do. It’s a regular office vibe, nothing too fancy, just people trying to keep things running for the clients. We have a lot of cables and servers tucked away in corners. It gets a bit loud with the cooling fans sometimes. If you walk past our building in SDA, you might not even realize what we’re doing inside, but there is always a lot going on to keep the digital side of things stable and running for people who need it.
