We’ve been here at Wipro Infotech in Krishna Market for a good while now. Our office is up on the first floor, number 44. If you know Kalka Ji, you know how busy this area gets with people coming and going all day long. It is a bit noisy sometimes but we like the energy. It’s a plain place, nothing too fancy to look at when you walk in. We just have our desks set up and get to work every morning. Most folks around here know where we are. We don’t really do much big talk or have posters everywhere. It is just us doing what needs to get done. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much if you are carrying stuff, but that is just how these old market buildings are built. New Delhi summers can make the office feel a bit stuffy, but we have our fans and we manage. People stop by to ask things or just to see if we are open. We try to keep a steady schedule. It isn’t always perfect, sometimes the lights flicker or the internet acts up like anywhere else. But we stay focused on our tasks. We have a lot of files and equipment around, which makes it feel like a real workspace. Being right here in the heart of the market makes life easier for getting lunch or catching a rickshaw home after a long day of work. It is a simple life but we are used to it.
