Walia Engineering Corporation

We are set up at Shop No 266 in J Block of Saket. Being near the bus stand means there is never a quiet moment. Walia Engineering Corporation has been in this little corner for quite some time now. We handle various engineering parts and repair work. It’s a small shop, but we’ve managed to fit a lot of tools and machinery inside. You can usually hear the sound of a drill or a lathe if you walk by during the day. We don't have any fancy displays in the window. It’s mostly just parts and oil cans. People who live around Saket or work near the bus stand know us well. We get a lot of walk-in traffic because of the location. The work is hands-on and often messy. We spend our days fixing things that broke or finding parts that are hard to get. Sometimes we have to tell people a job will take longer because we’re waiting on a specific piece, and that’s just how it is. We aren't trying to be the biggest engineering firm in the city. We’re just happy doing our work here in J Block. It’s a family-run kind of vibe. We drink a lot of chai and talk to the regulars who stop by just to say hello. It’s a good spot to be in, even with all the noise from the buses nearby and the people rushing past on their way to work. It keeps us on our toes.
