Vir Pal Kathoria

I’ve been over here at D-283 on Devli Road in Khanpur for a while now. Most days I’m just busy handling whatever comes through the door. It’s a busy spot in New Delhi, always something going on outside with the traffic and people walking by. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where the work gets done and we try to keep things moving. I usually get in early before the noise on Devli Road really picks up. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. People stop by to ask questions or drop things off, and I just try to help them out as best as I can without making a big deal of it. My desk is usually covered in papers and some old coffee mugs, but I know where everything is. It’s a small operation here under my name, Vir Pal Kathoria, and we don't spend much time worrying about looking polished for anyone. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just wait it out and talk for a while until it comes back on. It’s a regular place for regular people. If you find yourself in Khanpur, you’ve probably seen the sign or at least the building near the main road. It’s just how we do things here, keeping it simple and just getting through the daily list. It is what it is.
