My name is Vidur Bardwaj and I handle design and development from our office in Mehrauli. We are specifically at 29/4 in Ward No.-1. If you have ever been to this part of New Delhi, you know how narrow and winding the streets can get. It is an old area with a lot of history and character. Our workspace is pretty simple. It is not one of those glass-and-steel offices you see in Gurgaon. It is a bit more grounded and real. We do a lot of our thinking and drawing here. The walls are mostly covered with sketches and notes. Outside, you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood, people shouting, and the occasional bike zooming past. Mehrauli has a certain energy that you don't find elsewhere in Delhi. Being in Ward No.-1 means we are right in the thick of things. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait it out or use the backup. It’s not perfect, but it is where we do our best work. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a few people focused on getting the designs right. It is a practical place for us to be. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just want to finish our projects and enjoy the local food from the market nearby. It is a good spot for someone who likes the real side of the city.
