Vashistha Pharma

Vashistha Pharma is located right across from the MCD Primary School in Meetha Pur. You can hear the kids playing during their recess time, which is actually quite nice to listen to. It breaks up the silence of the workday. We’ve been in Meetha Pur for a good while now. The area is a bit tucked away, but people know us. Our daily life is pretty straightforward. We come in, check the messages, and start sorting through the medicines and supplies. It’s just a handful of us here. We don’t have any fancy titles; we all just pitch in where it’s needed. Sometimes I’m on the phone, other times I’m helping load a delivery van. The school is the best landmark to give people because everyone knows where it is. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the ledger. We still prefer writing things down by hand most of the time because it feels more reliable than a computer. The neighborhood is fairly quiet except for the school hours. We have a good relationship with the other shopkeepers on the street. If we run out of milk for tea, someone usually lets us borrow some. It’s that kind of place. We don’t have a big corporate strategy. We just try to get the orders right and keep the shelves organized. It's a modest business, and we are perfectly fine with that. It's just how we live and work every day.
