Nehru Place is a wild place to work. It’s always loud and there are people everywhere you look. We are in the Sidharth Building, specifically at room 203. It’s a huge building, number 96 on the block. Our office isn't as chaotic as the market outside, luckily. Vaidik Infotech is where we spend our nine-to-five, and usually some extra hours too. The room is filled with the hum of servers and the flickering of indicator lights. We have some basic desks and chairs that have been with us since we started. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find fancy art on the walls. We have whiteboards covered in scribbles and diagrams instead. The windows look out onto other buildings, and you can hear the faint sound of the metro and the shouting of vendors down on the street. It’s a very specific kind of energy you only get in this part of Delhi. We often order food from the local stalls because it’s fast and right there. Sometimes the corridors of the Sidharth Building get a bit dark, but once you’re inside 203, it’s all bright lights and tech work. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People in the industry know where we are. We just keep our heads down and deal with the data and the software. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know.
