Urvi Computers Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Quarter Number 79-G in Sector-4 of Pushp Vihar. If you know the area, it’s right off MB Road near Saket. Being in a government quarter means the space is pretty specific in its layout. We’ve turned the main room into a workspace where we keep all the computer parts and tools. It’s often a bit messy with cables lying around and different monitors stacked up on the shelves. Since we are in New Delhi-17, the heat in the summer is something we just have to live with, even with the small cooler we have running in the corner. People from the nearby sectors often drop by with their machines when something stops working. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting lounge; people just pull up a stool and wait while we take a look at their hardware. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and trying to figure out why a certain motherboard is acting up. The traffic on MB Road is always loud, but you get used to the sound of the buses after a week or two. We aren't trying to be a big tech firm; we just like fixing things and helping out the people who live in Pushp Vihar. It’s a simple business and we like the people we meet. We try to be fair and get things done without too much talk.
