U N I Care

If you head down to Ajmeri Gate and look for Shahtara Street, you will find U N I Care at number 4571. This part of the city is always moving, and Shahtara Street is no exception. It’s a narrow lane where things can get a bit tight, especially during the middle of the day. Our office is a modest space within that old building. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers recognize us. Inside, it’s mostly just a collection of old cabinets and a few chairs for whoever drops by. We do our work without making a big fuss about it. The air in Ajmeri Gate has that specific city smell, a mix of everything going on around us. Our windows don’t look out on much besides the building across the way, but that’s alright. We focus on the care tasks we have to handle. It gets noisy with the scooters and the shouting from the market nearby, but we’ve gotten used to it over time. The floor is a bit uneven in places, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound when it’s on the high setting. It’s just a real place where real work happens. We don't have a reception desk or a lobby, just a door that stays open most of the time to let a bit of air in. It's a simple life here on Shahtara Street.
