The Green Printing House

The Green Printing House is tucked into Gali Lallu Mishra at Shop No 3486/6. This is inside Rai Market in Sadar Bazar, not far from the Number Dar Estate. If you have ever been to Sadar Bazar, you know how narrow the galis can be and how many people are always moving through them. Our shop is small, like most of the ones in this area, but we make the most of every square inch. We have our printing machines squeezed in alongside stacks of paper and finished jobs. The air in the gali can be a bit thick, but we have a small fan that helps. It is a very old part of the city, and the building feels like it has been here forever. We are surrounded by other traders and wholesalers, so there is a lot of shouting and hauling of goods all day long. Getting things in and out of Rai Market is always a challenge because of the crowds, so we have to be patient. We start early in the morning before the lanes get too clogged up. Inside the shop, things are a bit messy with paper scraps and ink bottles, but that is the nature of the work. We don't have a fancy sign, just our name above the door. People find us because we have been here in Gali Lallu Mishra for a long time and we just focus on getting the printing done. It is a busy life here.
