Reliant Electronic Design Services Pvt Ltd sits at 132/B near the Delhi G P O at Kashmere Gate. It’s a busy spot to be in, with the post office right there and all the people coming and going from the station. Our office is where we do all our electronic design work, sitting at desks filled with wires and different pieces of equipment. The noise from the street usually makes its way inside, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of horns and the general bustle of Kashmere Gate over time. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking about circuits and how things connect. Sometimes a design takes much longer than we thought it would, and we end up staying late while the area outside finally starts to quiet down. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that, just our work area and a place to make some tea. Being so close to the GPO is handy for when we need to send things out or check the mail. It’s a very old part of Delhi, so the buildings have that specific feel to them, thick walls and odd corners. We just focus on the drawings and the technical side of things, trying to make sure every design makes sense before it leaves our hands. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just keep our heads down and work.
