We have been working out of this spot at Shop No 6 in the Nanu Ram Complex for quite some time now. Jyoti Park is a busy area and we are right in the thick of it near New Colony Sector 7. If you walk past Hamdard Dawakhana you will probably hear the machines running before you see our sign. The shop isn't very large but we make the most of the space we have. There are stacks of paper everywhere and the smell of ink is pretty strong most mornings. We spend most of our day getting through orders and checking the alignment on the old cutters. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we keep the fans going. People from around the neighborhood drop in frequently. Some just want a few copies while others have bigger jobs that take a few days. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the counter gets buried under proofs and invoices. It is a simple setup really. We just show up, open the shutters, and start on whatever is next in the pile. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just how things go here. Most of us have been working together for years so we have a rhythm down. It is a local place and we know many of the faces that walk in. Nothing fancy, just a printing shop doing its work day by day.
