Tapodhani Computers

If you go to Nehru Place, you’ll find us in the Deepali Building, specifically at room 311. Nehru Place is famous for tech, so it makes sense for Tapodhani Computers to be right here. It’s a very busy building. There’s always someone moving a box or running to an appointment in the hallways. Our office is a bit cramped because we have so many parts and computers everywhere. It’s a working space, not a gallery. We’ve been here for quite some time and we’ve seen shops come and go. We stay because we like the energy of the area. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but that’s just Nehru Place for you. We mostly deal with computer hardware and repairs. People bring in things that stopped working, and we see if we can bring them back to life. It’s satisfying work. We don't have a receptionist; you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't holding a screwdriver at the moment. We don't use fancy terms to explain things. We just tell you what’s broken and how long it might take to fix it. It’s a very practical business. We drink a lot of tea and listen to the noise from the street. It’s a good spot for what we do. We're usually here until the building gets quiet in the evening. There is always some computer that needs one last look before we can head home for the night.
