Tacit India

We are located on the third floor of Gokul Apartment in Krishna Nagar. This is inside Safdar Jung Enclave in South Delhi, which is generally a nice, green area. Being in an apartment building means it feels more like a home than a stiff office. We have a few rooms set up with desks and chairs. The balcony gives us a bit of a view of the trees outside, which is a nice break from looking at computer screens all day. It’s usually pretty quiet around here, except when the garbage truck comes by or someone is moving furniture in another flat. We don’t have a big sign outside the building, so people usually have to call us when they arrive at the gate. It’s a small operation with just a few of us. We share the space and often end up eating lunch together at the main table. There’s always a kettle going for coffee or tea. We don’t have any corporate protocols or fancy dress codes; we just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. Sometimes the lift in the building is under maintenance, so we have to use the stairs, which is okay. It’s a straightforward way to work. We like the location because it’s easy to get to, and it’s not as chaotic as some other parts of Delhi. We just show up, do our tasks, and go home like everyone else.
