Tacit India

Tacit India is tucked away in R.P.S. Flat No 124 in Sheikh Sarai Ase-1, New Delhi. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than the main commercial hubs, which we actually prefer. Working out of a flat gives the whole operation a much more personal feel. You won't find any glass elevators or uniformed receptionists here. Instead, you get a few rooms filled with desks, computers, and a lot of books and documents. We do our work quietly and try to stay out of the way of the neighbors. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so there isn't much of a commute, which is a blessing in Delhi traffic. We handle a variety of tasks that come our way, mostly focusing on the details that other bigger places might overlook. It’s the kind of environment where everyone knows what everyone else is doing, so we don't need a lot of meetings. We just talk across the room. Sometimes the power goes out or the water is a bit finicky, but that’s just life in this part of town. We’ve built up a decent rhythm over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there; we just want to do our work well and go home at a reasonable hour. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we like the community feel of Sheikh Sarai and its green spaces.
