Surender

I’m writing this from our spot at A-704 in Gautam Puri Phase -2. It’s a busy part of Badarpur, and if you’ve been around here, you know how the traffic gets on the main roads. We’ve been at this location for a bit now. Surender is mostly just a few of us trying to stay on top of things every day. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks, a couple of chairs that probably need replacing, and a lot of papers stacked up near the window. Sometimes the fan makes a weird clicking noise when it's on high, but we just get used to it. It’s mostly about getting the work done and making sure we don’t lose track of what’s coming in. New Delhi summers are pretty rough here, especially when the afternoon sun hits the front of the building. We usually take turns getting tea from the stall down the street because it helps pass the time when things get a bit slow. There isn't much to say about us that isn't just about the daily grind. We show up, deal with whatever is on the desk, and head home when the sun goes down. It's just a normal workplace in a crowded neighborhood. We don't really have big meetings or anything like that. We just talk across the room to get things sorted. It works for us, and we manage to keep things moving along without too much trouble.
